WHY WE'RE HERE

We’re here to meet the un-met survey needs of the great communities of New Hampshire. A professional service delivered in a timely manner isn’t too much to ask.

Academy Survey, LLC aims to consult with home owners, developers, builders, and other land use professionals on how land rights and local regulations can and will shape their residential projects before they start and work through solutions as problems arise.

WHAT WE DO

New Hampshire law defines a Land Surveyor as “A professional specialist in the technique of measuring land, educated in the basic principles of mathematics, the related physical and applied science, and the relevant requirements of law for adequate evidence and all requisite to the surveying of real property as herein defined.

None of that is untrue, but is a Land Surveyor the professional you need to help with your project, or perhaps only one of them?

Most notably, Land Surveyors are the the only professionals that can establish or re-establish land boundaries. Our diverse education and training in history, survey, law, and how they apply to land boundaries and land use today make Land Surveyors uniquely qualified to aid you in your land planning goals while working alongside parallel professionals including attorneys, engineers, wetland scientists, and septic designers.

PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT

Whether you own an acre or a few hundred, your land is likely one of the largest investments you’ve made and without a clear understanding of its boundaries, you’re not protecting that investment as best as you’re able. In addition to marking the boundaries on the ground and ensuring corner monuments are in place, a boundary survey results in a plan that depicts your land’s boundaries and their relation to improvements and natural features adjacent to those boundaries.

Boundary surveys play an important role in your estate planning process. Nobody cares as much about your property as you; don’t surprise your heirs with an old deed that no layperson could place on the ground. By acquiring a boundary survey now, you’re insuring a more seamless transition for your family in what will likely be a trying time.

We pride ourselves in our cartography (the art and science of making maps) so that you may wish to hang one of our boundary surveys of your estate in your office or garage, but understand that in this digital age, paper plans get stored and it’s more common to look at a PDF on a screen. Having a boundary survey on hand creates a great piece of mind, even if it’s stored out of sight along with your Last Will and Testament and Life Insurance policy.
